We’re certainly familiar with all manner of transport requests, but one that we hadn’t heard of was arriving in a tractor.
But Mashable has reported on the story of one Irish bride who decided to arrive to her nuptials in a tractor.
Yes, you read that correctly. Aisling Graham drove a tractor to her wedding, revealing that it had always been part of her plan.
She told the website that she’s from a farming background and has been driving tractors since she was around eight years old.
“I love the whole silage season and I love driving a tractor. So I said if I was ever to get married, I’d be taking a tractor to my wedding,” she said.
The tractors that took the bridal party to the venue were cleaned and polished for the occasion, and even decked out with ribbons and bows.
Her husband to-be wasn’t going to be upstaged either. He arrived at the ceremony in a lorry, which is fitting given that he drives a lorry for a haulage company for a living.
