Before your Bolton wedding car appears in your driveway to whisk you off to the church, you need to have spared a few moments to decide just how you want to decorate the car so everyone knows you’re on your way to your wedding.
There are many ways you can opt to do this, whether you want to go all out or keep it as simple as possible. Many people choose to adorn the front of the car with a simple white ribbon (which can look lovely, especially on an old vintage model), but some go for something a lot more elaborate.
Adding flowers to the car is an increasingly popular choice for brides and grooms. You could keep it low key by adding bouquets to the handles on the doors, or you could really make a statement by adding greenery and beautiful roses all over the front – although your driver will have to drive more carefully to stop them from coming off.
You should try and make your decorations match the type of car you have. For example, if you choose to travel in style to the church in a cool VW campervan, why not decorate the front in 70s-inspired garlands rather than bouquets?
Or if you’ve chosen to have a Beetle, you could cover the front bumper with gorgeous bunches of flowers.
Whatever you do, don’t forget to decorate the back of the car for after the wedding when you drive off as man and wife. A just married sign surrounded by flowers always looks lovely – and don’t forget about the obligatory tin cans either!
