2016 is finally here and no doubt there are many happy couples who got engaged over Christmas who are now busy planning their weddings and trying to work out what sort of party they want to throw.
If you need a bit of inspiration, look no further than right here. We’ve been reading the Daily Mail and have come across this article featuring some of the top trends for weddings expected to be seen this year.
For example, Anna Wang of Anna Wang styling said that golds, reds and blacks are particularly big at the moment and can be seen in the majority of colour schemes, adding that rose gold is also popular right now as well.
You might also want to consider swapping real flowers for artificial ones as this is a growing trend and there are some amazing ones on the market if you’re tempted to go this way.
“We are seeing a lot of artificial flowers at the moment – you get more for your money and can afford to do things bigger, grander and with more ‘wow factor’,” Ms Wang told Daily Mail Australia.
Meanwhile, chef and owner at Hungry Like the Wolf and Seaweed Cuisine Monique Guterres confirms that big wedding cakes are falling out of fashion, in favour of tortes, tarts, bowls of fresh fruit and smaller puddings.
