When it comes to organising a wedding, there is a lot to think about. You’ve got the venue, the catering, a photographer, not to mention finding the perfect wedding cars in Manchester to fit in with your big day.
Apparently, a growing number of brides-to-be are also adding non-invasive cosmetic surgery to the list of things to do ahead of their wedding day.
Review site RealSelf recently revealed that almost 15 per cent of all reviews that feature the words ‘wedding’ or ‘getting married’ were for Botox.
This cosmetic procedure has grown in popularity in recent years, thanks not only to the fact that the injections smooth out wrinkles, but also due to the short amount of time a treatment takes and the relatively limited recovery.
But it isn’t just Botox that’s attracting brides – CoolSculpting, a form of non-surgical fat reduction, is also popular among around eight per cent of brides, as is Invisalign, which revamps your smile.
Dr Victoria Veytsman, a dentist based in New York, explained that Invisalign is popular among brides because “it’s a fairly easy and conservative treatment but yields maximum results”.
Of course, given how stressful planning a wedding can be, you may want to incorporate a beauty treatment like Botox into a short getaway where you can unwind and be pampered.
We recently offered a number of tips for de-stressing ahead of your wedding, including delegating jobs to your friends and family where you can so that you can focus on a few of the most important things.
