Soon-to-be newlyweds organising Stockport wedding car hire but who have yet to get their dresses and suits sorted out might want to head to ASOS, as the company has just revealed that it will be launching a bridal range in April next year.
According to a report in Vogue, the range looks set to be extremely affordable, with the most expensive dress only setting you back £250. Expect to see lots of traditional options covering a range of different styles, from skater and short to high neck, long sleeve and Grecian dresses.
You’ll also be able to shop for bridal shoes and accessories, so if you have a strict budget and want to look your best without breaking the bank, the ASOS range could well be the one for you.
Another company you might want to look up before you buy your wedding dress is Self Portrait, the brain child of Han Chong – Saint Martins graduate – who intends to launch his own affordable bridal range, although no date has yet been set as to when dresses will be released.
Other ways to save money on your dress include scouting out various charity shops. There are dedicated stores that only stock used dresses (some of which are also factory seconds, so you may find a gem if you look hard enough), or you could see if someone in your family has one that could be altered. Walking down the aisle in a family heirloom dress could be a really lovely way to mark the occasion.
