When it comes to wedding cars, most people opt for something luxurious and expensive-looking. Something special, something like a 1936 Vintage 16/6 Hertford. But of course, there are those who prefer to do something a little bit out of the ordinary – like turn up to the church in the Batmobile.
According to Get Surrey, that’s exactly what one excited groom’s family decided to do, booking the car to take Pavandip Singh Kambo to his Sikh marriage ceremony in some serious style.
The groom himself had no idea how he would be travelling to the venue back in September, saying: “It was just a surprise, I didn’t know about it… The trailer turned up and I saw it unload – I was absolutely gobsmacked, I couldn’t believe it. I was absolutely breathtaken, words couldn’t describe the emotions.”
We can only imagine what the other guests thought when they saw Mr Kambo turn up to the temple in Hounslow in the Batmobile. We hope there were lots of photos taken at any rate – no one would believe it otherwise!
